How to Take Verapamil Hydrochloride 5mg?
Adult

Initial dose: an intravenous bolus of 5 to 10 mg (0.075 to 0.15 mg/kg body weight) administered over at least two minutes.

If the first dose does not provide an acceptable response, repeat it 30 minutes later at a dose of 10 mg (0.15 mg/kg body weight). good space between the following IVs Doses should be tailored to each patient because they have not been established.

Pediatric

first dosage:

1 to 15 years old: An intravenous bolus of 0.1 to 0.3 mg/kg body weight (typical single dose range: 2 to 5 mg) should be given over the course of at least two minutes. Never go beyond 5 mg.

Booster dosage
